Once you add the Planner app to Teams, you'll find:

The simplest way is to select … View more apps, search for Planner in the search bar, and then select Add.

To pin the app for easy access, right click on Planner after adding the app and select Pin.

To open the Planner app in a separate window, select Open in new window.

To get started, follow these steps:

  1. Select any standard Teams channel.
  2. Select the Open Apps icon at the top right of the channel and search for Planner.
  3. Select Pin a tab for Planner.
  4. Select Save.
  5. You can now add an existing plan to the channel or create a new plan.
